A CELEBRATION OF CHRISTMAS MUSIC IN BENIJOFAR CHURCH

An opportunity for us to sing our Christmas Carols in the beautiful church of Benijofar - Iglesia de Santiago de Apostol 

We were delighted with the response of our audience and thanks to their very kind donations, in our famous red buckets, we were able to hand over €121 to the local food bank!  as well as to deliver a wonderful hamper full of Christmas chocolate treats for the children!

We are delighted to announce  that our fundraising concert held at Salt Church was an outstanding success!!

We welcomed nearly 180 visitors to our concert celebrating our songs from around the world. The choir as well as the audience enjoyed performances from two wonderful guest musicians, Donnie Macdiarmid, a Scottish bagpipe player accompanied us in singing Amazing Grace and then performed a solo piece of well known songs as a singalong for us all together with the audience.

Our inspired musical director Irene, had also invited as a surprise for us all; a very special guest musician, David Valera Ruiz, a talented musician who plays the dolcaina, which is a traditional Spanish instrument especially in the Valencian region. We sang El Tio Pep in the Valencian language so David was the perfect accompanist!

AS WE FINISH FOR THE SUMMER WE HELD OUR FINAL CONCERT IN LOS MONTESINOS

We were delighted to be invited to take part in the Los Montesinos Cultural Week!

We joined in with the closing event of the week, a Centennial celebration at the sacred heart of Jesus square. Crescendo joined the Los Montesinos choir to sing the national hymn Sacred Heart of Jesus. Crescendo later performed three Spanish songs - Besame Mucho, Amapola and Clavelitos. Followed by two songs in English - Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps and Unchained Melody.

We were delighted to hold this wonderful concert, generously sponsored by Seagate Wealth Management, represented by Client Account Manager Karen Love. 

With coffee and cakes available after the concert for a small donation.  These items were provided free of charge by Belen of Rincon de Mateo.

The concert was attended and supported by the Mayor of Benijofar and his representative Pilar Yagues Illescas from the Town Hall. 

All funds raised from this concert will now be presented to the Food bank of Benijofar.

 2017 WE SANG FOR THE SPANISH ASSOCIATION AGAINST CANCER (AECC)!

Crescendo performed a wonderful charity concert at Hotel Golf Campoamor in aid of the Spanish Association Against Cancer, La Siesta Golf Society and Crescendo. A great time was had by all and as you can see in the photograph below, we raised some much needed funds for the charity!

CRESCENDO SINGS FOR CASA VERDE

Casa Verde is group of establishments that offer peace and tranquility in living accommodation for the elderly here in Spain.

We are are regular supporters  and love to come along hold concerts and sing for the residents whenever possible.

We held a concert to support a friend of the choir who was opening a new restaurant in Pinoso, it was fun to combine our singing and fund raising with a lovely day out!  All funds raised on the day were donated to the Red Cross.
