We are a truly international choir with members from many different countries who have all come together in music, while we enjoy living in our wonderful host country of Spain!
Originally formed in 2004, we are very proud to say that in 2024 we celebrated 20 years of singing together as a choir. As well as a love of community, music and singing, our aim is to entertain and raise as much money as we can for our charities.
We are always looking to welcome new members, especially right now we are in need of male voices...please see our little ditty below!
We are very fortunate to have as our Music Director, Irene Oliva, an accomplished Spanish musician. Who also teaches music. Our pianist is Carlos Almela, who is classically trained.
Due to Irène's many contacts in the Spanish world of Music, Theatre and Culture, we are being invited to participate in a number of very high profile concerts and events. You can see more details of these on our events pages.
Choir rehearsals take place at Rincon de Miguel in Los Montesinos. They are held on Monday evenings from 17:45 to 20.

CRESCENDO INTERNATIONAL PLEA……
WE NEED MEN!!!
We meet on Mondays at 5:30 for friendship and fun.
Under Irene’s direction, we strive for perfection, cos we think we are second to none.
The first thing we do is practice our scale's; it’s good for your lungs and your heart, breath control is vital, for any recital…then we’re ready to start.
We move on to files and our music; when under guidance, we all start to sing. There are songs from the shows that everyone knows, and with many a blast from the past.
There’s Cohen, Lloyd Webber and Verde, McCartney and Irving Berlin. There’s music that swings and traditional things and with Carlos; our wonderful pianist, it helps us to sing.
As well as hard work there is always much laughter, an air of good humour prevails. Though all appears fine… well sort of, you see, as there’s one thing we are short of…
AND THAT’S MEN!
Sometimes we all sing together, four voices, in joyful unison on the main, though singing in parts is dear to our hearts, It highlights our problem again…
WE COULD DEARLY USE SOME MORE MEN!
We have hordes of sweet-sounding sopranos, with altos at ten a penny. There are lots of spaces for tenors and basses yet some weeks we have hardly any.
The few we do have are outnumbered, a fact they really don’t seem to mind. Don’t misunderstand, they sound simply grand…we just need more of their kind!
You don’t need to read music, that’s an excuse you cannot use cos you see, the music, as supplied by Irene, is available to you for your own practice on an mp3.
We are short of testosterone ladies, so if your man is bored and under your feet, why not send him along for a good ol’ sing and a song… we can promise he’s in for a treat.
We always depart, with a song in our heart, and our step has decided spring, from the joy and the pleasure of sharing friendship and great music together and of course of having a sing!
